Pre-Orders for the Limited Edition of Rise are now open!
![]()
"Rise" is a piece of art painted in ink and watercolor, and the original was sold at Anthrocon 2010. Because of demand, I am creating a Limited Edition print of this piece.
Specs:
- Image size will be the native size (same size as the original) which is 10" wide by 14" tall. There will be a white border on all edges that is 2" in width, making the total size 14" x 18".
- Prints will be printed with beautiful high end pigmented archival inks, onto Hahnemuhle mould-made 100% cotton watercolor paper.
- Prints will be hand signed and numbered based on the final edition number.
- Final edition number will be based largely on the number of pre-orders placed (number of pre-orders placed + number purchased for 'stock' = final number of prints run). I anticipate this number will probably be less than 50 total.
- Prints will be packaged in an archival clear plastic sleeve then shipped via mailing tube to prevent bending, tearing or creases.
- Pre-orders will be available until September 15th 2010 at Midnight (EST).
Will there be other prints of this image made in other (sizes/papers/prices)?
- At this time, I do not plan to make any other prints of this image, with the possible exception of open-edition mini prints (4"x6") which I sell at shows.
If I don't pre-order, can I get a print of this later?
- In addition to pre-orders I will be purchasing a small number of these prints out of my pocket, so that I will have a small number 'in stock' to sell from this site and at shows. Due to the up front cost of doing this, I will not have a large number of prints 'in stock'. It is possible I will have a few in stock for some time, but it is also possible they will sell out quickly. I cannot predict this; once they are all sold, they are gone. No more will be printed in this format. The base price for 'stocked' prints will remain the same as the pre-order price.
After I order, how long will it take for my print to ship to me?
- I will be accepting pre-orders until September 15th, 2010. At that time I will submit the final number of prints to my printer and they will then process and print the run of prints in one batch. This can take 2-3 weeks. After I receive the prints I will inspect them, sign and number them, then package and ship. I expect that prints should ship by the second week in October unless there are problems along the way. With technology one can never rule that out.
I don't want to miss out on one of these but can't afford the full price before the 15th. Do I have any options?
- You may, of course, wait to purchase one of the prints I will have as 'stock' after they are all printed, however there is always a risk they might sell out before you get one as I cannot invest in too many out of pocket. If you are very anxious to get one but cannot afford the full cost at this time I am happy to take a smaller down-payment until you can pay off the print in full, and have a print run for you. Down-payments are non-refundable. To work this out, please email me directly before the 15th of September. :)
I am not in the USA. Do you ship to me? What does it cost?
- I am happy to ship anywhere in the world that the USPS will allow me to ship to! If you are in the USA or Canada, you may check out with the button below. If you are NOT in the USA or Canada please contact me directly via email for a custom cart button as shipping costs to other international locations vary greatly.
Are you offering any other images to be printed like this? What about (random artwork here)?
- Depending on how this goes, I may offer limited edition print runs on other images in the future. :)
9/16/2010 -- Sorry, Pre-Orders are now closed!! If you want a Rise print but were unable to get on the pre-order list please 'stay tuned' as I will have a small number for sale in October 2010.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns you may always contact me at nam_art@hotmail.com.
