Photos:
Colors may display differently on your screen than how they appear in person. Every screen displays colors a little differently. Items that have iridescence or colorplay in the stone (such as opal, labradorite, moonstone, ammolite, etc) are nearly impossible to capture properly in a photo as the colors shift. I try my best to accurately represent my work and do not ‘enhance’ photos. If you wish to see additional photos of any item I would be glad to send them to you, please email me.
Also, many of the photos are ‘larger than life’ to show detail. Depending on your screen resolution they may be much larger than the actual item. Please note dimensions carefully so that you may understand the true size of the item.Payment:
I accept Paypal, Personal checks, Money orders and bank checks, and Credit cards (I process through Paypal but you do not need an account). Personal checks have a 10-day clearance period before items will be shipped. If using a Paypal eCheck, items will be shipped once the eCheck has cleared. I can not be responsible for any payment lost in the mail so please keep receipts for money orders and cashier’s checks.
If you wish to pay via Paypal you may use the cart system to check out. If you wish to purchase via other method please email me with the exact item you want and we will proceed.
First come first served policy:
The Paypal shopping cart on this page is unfortunately not smart enough to ‘understand’ that there is only one of each item, as all items are one of a kind and handmade (with exception to prints). This means that each item must manually be removed once it has been purchased. Therefore it is possible to purchase something that may already be sold. I make every effort to remove sold items as quickly as possible however I do have to sleep- sold items will be removed within 12 hours. In the event of multiple customers purchasing the same item, the first person to purchase the item will get it and all others will be given a prompt full refund. I apologize for any inconvenience.
Guarantee / Warranty / Returns:
Guarantee/ Returns:
If you are dissatisfied with your jewelry for any reason I do offer a money back (less shipping costs) guarantee if paid via Paypal. If you are dissatisfied with your jewelry upon receipt, you must contact me (via email) within 24-36 hours of receipt of jewelry so that I may authorize the return. Jewelry must be mailed back within 5 business days in the same condition you received it in. I will issue a full refund for purchase price minus shipping costs to you upon my receipt of the jewelry. I can not be responsible for loss of items in the post when shipped from the purchaser to myself- delivery confirmation is a cheap way of making sure the piece gets back where it belongs.
Warranty:
I offer no warranty on my jewelry items. They are carefully hand made with love and the best quality craftsmanship possible, however they are genuinely hand-made. The are made with nothing more than my fingers and a tiny pair of pliers. My jewelry is made to last decades with gentle wear and loving handling- however I must emphasize that it is a delicate piece. No soldering nor casting were used in creating it so it cannot be ‘worried’ along its chain, played with, worn to bed, chewed on, or otherwise handled roughly. Many of the stones I work with due to their beauty also tend to be fragile (opal, labradorite, ammonite) and can scratch or fracture. Because the genuine silver wire I work with is soft enough to shape with my fingers, it can be malformed if handled roughly. With proper care my pieces are made to last (my mother has worn hers daily for over 2 years now with no problems) but due to the nature of being handmade with no solders or casting, I cannot offer a warranty on it.
Shipping:
Multiple items via Paypal:
I ship as many items as you wish to purchase for one combined shipping cost. Unfortunately my cart system is ‘dumb’ and will charge you shipping for each item you purchase. If you wish to purchase more than one items you may do the following:- Email me with the exact items you want and I will send you an invoice with combined shipping costs for your items.
- Check out with extra shipping costs. If you are worried about someone else getting an item ‘before’ you then you can do this. I will promptly refund any overage in shipping costs to your Paypal account.
Items are shipped as soon as payment is received and cleared.Within the USA:
For mailing within the USA usually this means on the next business day as I am able to ship from home. All items will have delivery confirmation and all items worth $50.00 or more will be insured. If there is a problem with shipping within the US please contact me so we can figure it out. I can not be responsible for items shipped to an incorrect address at the buyer’s mistake so please double check that you are giving me the correct address to ship to.
International buyers:
I am only able to go to the post office once per week, most weeks. This means that it may take up to 7 days after payment is cleared for your item to ship. All items are shipped international first class, which takes anywhere from 10-30 business days depending on your location and how slow customs are. Upgrades to Priority International (7-15 business days most of the time) can be made for an additional cost if desired. I cannot insure international orders at this time, with the exception that Priority international places a % of insurance on their items. I can provide customs forms however beyond that once an item is shipped internationally it is out of my hands and I cannot be responsible for lost items! Please note that customs forms will be made out honestly with the item value (minus shipping costs) and will not be marked as a gift.
