Materials: Genuine, solid, natural moonstone and .925 solid sterling silver.

Stone quality/specs: High polish moonstone with good colorplay. Note that moonstone is a chatoyant (irridescent) stone. The colors are created by light refracting within layers in the stone, and so the colors you see depend on the viewing angle. Some stones only show color from some angles. Keep in mind that these photos are meant to try and show these colors. This is a great stone with colorplay from many angles.

Description: If you like big and like moonstone, this is the largest moonstone I have ever come across. Overall it is a milky white with crystalline patterns, and some areas of translucency. But across the surface- the entire surface- flashes a most electric blue and purple! I cannot describe how pretty this one is- please take a look for yourself in the video below! It has been wrapped in a heavy gague sterling silver and is very sturdy and hefty. The blue shows up from most front viewing angles.

Recommended necklace size: This pendant does not come with a chain/necklace. This pendant will look nice on larger chains; it is a heavy pendant. It wears especially well on collar-style rigid chokers.

Size: Please see above photo for dimensions. Pendant is pictured with a U.S. Dime for size reference. (Hint: if you are having a hard time picturing the size of this pendant, scale the above photo so that the dime is the size of a real dime on your screen. The pendant will then be at actual size.)
