Materials: Genuine, solid, natural labradorite and .925 solid sterling silver.
Stone quality/specs: High polish labradorite with good colorplay (amazing violets/magentas/golds/blues). Note that labradorite is a chatoyant (irrridescent) stone. The colors are created by light refracting within layers in the stone, and so the colors you see depend on the viewing angle. This is a AA stone with some colorplay visible from some angles.
Description: A stone of contrasts. This stone is usually a dark dark purple (nearly black) but at some angles flashes the craziest colors of purple, magenta, gold and blue. The central image shows how this stone usually looks- not too noteworthy. However, ifyou view it from the 'magic' angles, it has some of the craziest colors you'll find in a labradorite. It is very unusual to find laradorite with these colors- try and find another stone like this... you probably can't (I suspect it may be Finnish Spectrolite which is also a type of labradorite). Regardless, this is a beauty hidden within this stone. This stone is worth quite a bit, but I adjusted the price accordingly since the flash is visible only from some angles. This is a two-sided pendant; it can be worn with either side facing.
Recommended necklace size: This pendant will work on thicker necklaces; recommended 1mm or larger.
Size: Please see above photo for dimensions. Pendant is pictured with a U.S. Dime for size reference. (Hint: if you are having a hard time picturing the size of this pendant, scale the above photo so that the dime is the size of a real dime on your screen. The pendant will then be at actual size.)
