Materials: Genuine, solid faceted cirtine and Argentium Sterling Silver.
Argentium Sterling silver is a modern sterling silver alloy. It is a true Sterling silver and contains 92.5% silver just as all other Sterling Silvers do, however it has many advantages over normal Sterling Silver. Traditional Sterling is made with a 7.5% copper alloy to give it enough hardness to create jewelry with. Argentium Sterling Silver instead has an alloy of Germanium. This means that Argentium Sterling Silver is extremely tarnish resistant, is somewhat harder to scratch, and does not cause allergies in for most people that are sensitive to Sterling Silver. Nearly everyone that suffers from allergy problems with traditional Sterling Silver find that they do not experience problems with Argentium Sterling Silver. Further, because Argentium Sterling Silver does not produce firescale, it does not require chemical treatments like traditional sterling silver does and therefore is far more environmentally friendly.
Stone quality/specs: A vibrant orange citrine cut in an oval shape. Stone is eye-clean. This citrine (as are most citrines on the market today) is likely to be heat-treated amethyst quartz. This is not man made! It has simply been heated to change its color. This process does not damage the stone in any way.
Description: Citrine is a lovely type of quartz! And holy moly, this one is golden orange! I was excited to find this stone at such a good size. It's so glittery and nice. This is a lovely stone and a large citrine! Very glittery. See the video!
