Materials: Genuine, solid, natural moonstone and .925 solid sterling silver.

Stone quality/specs: Exceptional high polish moonstone with excellent colorplay (electric blues, aqua, a touch of gold). Note that moonstone is a chatoyant (irrridescent) stone. The colors are created by light refracting within layers in the stone, and so the colors you see depend on the viewing angle. This is a AAA+ stone with some colorplay visible from nearly all angles. Half crystalline and half milky translucent; the color flashes and ghosts across the stone like some crystal gone mad. Very pretty.

Description: Define Rainbow Moonstone- you won't find them much better than this one! I was so excited to find this stone for sale. Though the colors don't show from every angle, you can see them from most angles and wow, they are pretty. I really love the way the blue flashes across the clear part of this stone near the bottom. I was sorely tempted to keep this one.

Recommended necklace size: This pendant will work on thicker necklaces; recommended 1mm or larger.
