Moonlit Ocean Moonstone Pendant

Materials: Genuine, solid, natural moonstone and .925 solid sterling silver.

Stone quality/specs: High polish moonstone with good colorplay. Note that moonstone is a chatoyant (irridescent) stone. The colors are created by light refracting within layers in the stone, and so the colors you see depend on the viewing angle. Some stones only show color from some angles. Keep in mind that these photos are meant to try and show these colors. This is a great stone with colorplay from many angles.

Description: This is an elegant and beautiful teardrop moonstone. The stone itself has a lovely white crystalline pattern with a lot of transparent areas. Then, as you turn it in the light, brilliant flashes of blue dance across the surface! Very pretty. The color flashes show up from many viewing angles and is quite bright. A very flashy stone.

Recommended necklace size: This pendant does not come with a chain/necklace. This pendant will look nice on nearly any size chain.

Size: Please see above photo for dimensions. Pendant is pictured with a U.S. Dime for size reference. (Hint: if you are having a hard time picturing the size of this pendant, scale the above photo so that the dime is the size of a real dime on your screen. The pendant will then be at actual size.)

Note that all of my pendants are one of a kind! While I may make similar pieces in the future, no two will ever be exactly alike.
