Materials: Genuine, solid faceted cirtine and Argentium Sterling Silver.
Argentium Sterling silver is a modern sterling silver alloy. It is a true Sterling silver and contains 92.5% silver just as all other Sterling Silvers do, however it has many advantages over normal Sterling Silver. Traditional Sterling is made with a 7.5% copper alloy to give it enough hardness to create jewelry with. Argentium Sterling Silver instead has an alloy of Germanium. This means that Argentium Sterling Silver is extremely tarnish resistant, is somewhat harder to scratch, and does not cause allergies in for most people that are sensitive to Sterling Silver. Nearly everyone that suffers from allergy problems with traditional Sterling Silver find that they do not experience problems with Argentium Sterling Silver. Further, because Argentium Sterling Silver does not produce firescale, it does not require chemical treatments like traditional sterling silver does and therefore is far more environmentally friendly.
Stone quality/specs: A very nice 'oro verde' citrine, which are uncommon citrines with a slightly green hue. Cut in a pear shape. Stone is eye-clean.
Description: Citrine is a lovely golden type of quartz! This one is called 'oro verde' and this type of citrine is known for its slightly green tint. This is irradiated quartz (And truly, most critrine on the market today is amethyst/quartz that has been heat treated). The stone is not man-made, but helped along to it's final color by man (as are nearly all citrines). This one is very yellow-green, though the exact hue is up to the beholder (my father and I are always arguing over things this color. Is it green? Yellow? You decide). This is a lovely stone and a large citrine! Very glittery. See the video!
