Materials: Genuine, solid, natural labradorite and .925 solid sterling silver.
Stone quality/specs: These are all labradorite pendant beads (center drilled). Note that labradorite is a chatoyant (irrridescent) stone. The colors are created by light refracting within layers in the stone, and so the colors you see depend on the viewing angle. The finish on these is good but not excellent. There is some minor surface pitting (not caused by tools, but the texture of the stone itself). NOTE: All of these are designed to be two sided so that either side may be worn facing.
#1- Excellent rolling color flash of pale green from some angles.
#2- Excellent rolling color flash of pale green from some angles. Stone is a strange lilac color when held up to light. Has a glittery look. MBR> #3- Excellent vivid electric blue color flash from some angles. Very pretty striated pattern!
#4- Fair to good blue-green color flash from a few angles. Colors on this one are pretty but only show up from a few angles.
#5- Excellent electric blue color flash from most angles. This stone has a bit more pitting on it though.
Recommended necklace size: These pendants would all look nice on nearly any size necklace.
Size: Please see above photo for dimensions. Pendant is pictured with a U.S. Dime for size reference. (Hint: if you are having a hard time picturing the size of this pendant, scale the above photo so that the dime is the size of a real dime on your screen. The pendant will then be at actual size.)
