Materials: Genuine, solid, natural labradorite and .925 solid sterling silver.
Stone quality/specs: High polish labradorite with good colorplay. Note that labradorite is a chatoyant (irrridescent) stone. The colors are created by light refracting within layers in the stone, and so the colors you see depend on the viewing angle. Some stones only show color from some angles. Keep in mind that these photos are meant to try and show these colors. This is a great stone with wonderful colorplay from many, but not all, viewing angles.
Description: Wow! What a crazy stone this is. I suspect it is Finnish Spectrolite, which is a rare type of labradorite that has intense, unusual colors. And these are some unusual colors! Most labradorite sports blues, greens and golds... but this has something else going on. This stone has some shocking amber-magenta hues overall, which fade to bright purple and blue in some areas. Very uncommon (try and find another with these colors for sale at this price!). Note that the flash on this stone is very bright, but very directional-sensitive. It only shows colors from some angles. See video below for a better example.
