Glittery Boulder Opal Pendant
Wow! This is a spectacular 31.5 carat carat boulder opal set with .925 sterling silver wire. This is the finest piece of opal to pass though my hands yet- a real stunner in person!! This opal has an amazing play of all hues of the rainbow across its surface. Depending on your viewing angle, you'll see bright flashes of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet all over the surface of the opal. All viewing angles will delight you with fire on this one- no matter how you turn it, there's fire. There is a large patch of opal at the bottom of the stone that is spectacular and vivid, but the entire opal has flashes on the surface. The areas of brown are the host ironstone that the opal forms in, and helps to make this piece of opal strong. No photo can do this one justice. The flash is even more stunning in person! It is not a triplet or doublet but a solid opal. This is a one of a kind pendant, and because bloulder opals are so unique there will never be another like this!
