Materials: Genuine, solid, natural labradorite and .925 solid sterling silver.
Stone quality/specs: High polish labradorite with some good colorplay (amber gold with a bit of green). Note that labradorite is a chatoyant (irrridescent) stone. The colors are created by light refracting within layers in the stone, and so the colors you see depend on the viewing angle. This is a A stone with some colorplay visible only from some angles. This stone generally looks a warm brown color, and flashes with golden browns and greens from some angles.
Description: As I made this one I was taken with the shape- quite like an acorn. I love fall and attempted to create the feeling of falling leaves with the swirls of silver. The colors on this one don't always stand out, but the shapes on it make it a very elegant little pendant and one of my favorites. It has subtle beauty and is not real flashy.
Recommended necklace size: This pendant will work on necklaces of nearly any size.
Size: Please see above photo for dimensions. Pendant is pictured with a U.S. Dime for size reference. (Hint: if you are having a hard time picturing the size of this pendant, scale the above photo so that the dime is the size of a real dime on your screen. The pendant will then be at actual size.)
